How This Whole Thing Started

A bingo game for Cub Scouts.

Every feature on the Gig Game Studios platform traces back to a request. It started in 2020 with a simple browser-based bingo game built so a Cub Scout pack could stay connected on Zoom during lockdown. It worked, so the parents asked to use it at work. Then a bar asked for trivia. Then a trade show asked for something that worked on a walking floor. We never sat down and planned a platform - we just kept saying yes to the next request.

Some requests turned out to be bigger than a new game feature. A nonprofit needed a way to manage volunteers and fundraisers, not another game - so Active Affair became its own platform. An author needed full-cast audio drama production, not a live event tool - so RadioNovel became its own platform too. Different problems, built by the same team, under one roof.

That's the Gig Game family: what started with a simple browser-based bingo game has grown into a set of platforms serving businesses, entertainers, authors, nonprofits, community organizations, and everyday people.

And we're not done - we continue to grow all three of these platforms based on the feedback of users like you.

Jason Bramble
From The Founder
Jason Bramble

I've always believed that everything needs a story.

I'm a lifelong student of Walt Disney, and one of the things I've taken from him is the power of storytelling to bring an idea to life. I've always loved telling stories myself, and I've even published some of my own through OneSparked Publishing, our in-house publisher. Its name is a nod to "One Little Spark" from Epcot's Journey Into Imagination, and a reminder that one little spark of imagination is the root of all creation.

Stories give things meaning. They help us imagine what could be, connect us to one another, and turn an experience into something we remember.

Then there's play.

Watch children play and you'll see something remarkable. They explore. They experiment. They imagine. They laugh. They make up worlds and invite other people into them. Somewhere along the way, many of us lose some of that as adults.

I don't think we should. I'm a 52-year-old kid myself.

I believe play makes life more interesting. It strengthens our relationships. It gives us reasons to laugh together, compete together, discover together, and sometimes just be silly together.

And finally, there's community.

Carl Sagan once reflected on the simple reality that we all share this one small planet, together in the vastness of space. That idea has always resonated with me. For all our differences, we're all here together on this little blue world, surrounded by an enormous sea of darkness.

I believe that means something.

We need each other. We should support one another, build communities, bring people together, and use technology to strengthen human connections rather than replace them. Our individual communities may be small, but ultimately we're all part of the same one.

Those ideas are the three pillars of Gig Game Corp.

Play. Stories. Community.

Gig Game Studios lives where Play + Community meet.

RadioNovel lives where Stories + Play meet.

Active Affair lives where Community + Stories meet.

And at the center is Gig Game Corp..

The things we build may be very different, but they're all built around the same idea:

Tell a story. Make room for play. Bring people together.
