Every great trivia night starts with a great set of questions. Until now, that meant building one yourself, every time. Today that changes, and we are starting you off with thousands of questions already in hand.
We are launching the Trivia Set Marketplace, a place where Gig Game hosts can discover ready-to-play trivia sets built by other hosts, share their own, and pull individual questions into their personal catalog. And to make sure no one starts from an empty shelf, we have opened up our entire trivia library too. If you have ever stared at a blank set editor the night before an event, this one is for you.
Here is everything that just landed.
Discover sets built by other hosts
The Marketplace is a growing library of trivia sets created and shared by the Gig Game community. Instead of starting from scratch, you can browse what other hosts have already built and tested in front of real crowds.
You can filter by category, tag, keyword, or creator, then sort by top-rated, most-subscribed, or category to find exactly what fits your room. Running a holiday night at a bar? A team-building session for a corporate client? A music round for a festival crowd? Chances are another host has already put together something close.
Before you commit to anything, you get a full preview. Every set shows its cover image, the host who made it, the background music, the question and round counts, and a handful of sample questions, so you know what you are getting before it ever hits your screen.
When you find one you like, subscribing takes a single click. The set drops straight into your playable library, ready to host at your next event. No copying, no rebuilding, no fuss.
Rate, review, and trust what you pick
Because the Marketplace is built by hosts, it is also kept honest by hosts. You can leave a 1 to 5 star rating and a comment on any set you have used, and you can read what other hosts thought before you subscribe.
That means the best sets rise to the top where everyone can find them, and you get a real sense of how a set actually plays before you stake an event on it.
Always in sync
One thing we cared about getting right: you should never be surprised at showtime. If a creator updates, unshares, or removes a set you have subscribed to, your library updates automatically. You will never open your console expecting a set that is no longer there.
Share your own sets
Built something that lands every time? Put it on the Marketplace and let other hosts run it.
Sharing takes one click, either from the trivia set editor or right from your My Custom Trivia Sets page. Add a category and a few tags when you share so the right hosts can find it, and you are done.
You stay in control the whole time. You can unshare a set whenever you want, and before you do, we will tell you how many players are currently using it, so you can make the call with full information.
Thousands of questions, ready on day one
Here is the part we are most excited about. A brand-new marketplace usually starts empty, with nothing to play until people share. Not this one.
We have opened up our own entire trivia library, including every question from Trivia Night and Would I Lie, for importing into your catalog. The moment you subscribe, you have instant access to thousands of professionally built questions ready to drop into your own sets. You are not waiting on anyone to get started.
Import questions from shared sets
Sometimes you do not want a whole set. You just want that one perfect question. The new External Question Catalogs area, found under My Question Catalog, lets you build your catalog faster by borrowing questions from our library and from sets other hosts have opened up.
You can browse and search across all of it, filter by category or keyword, and preview any question to see its answer choices, image, and explanation. When you find ones you want, pick them and import them straight into your master catalog, images included, into a new or existing category.
Importing questions is a subscriber feature.
Polish and performance
Alongside the big additions, we cleaned up a few things along the way:
- Refreshed trivia navigation with quick access to the Marketplace and External Catalogs.
- A cleaner, easier-to-read question preview.
- Faster browsing of large trivia sets.
This is just the beginning
The Marketplace grows every time a host shares a set, so the community library will only get richer from here. But thanks to our own question library, you do not have to wait on anyone to dive in. You have thousands of questions and a growing shelf of community sets the moment you log in.
So have a look around, find a set, and host it at your next event. Or share one of your own and see how other hosts rate it. Either way, you are helping build something that makes every host's next event a little easier to pull off.
Head to the trivia section to explore the Marketplace, and let us know what you think.
