We're excited to welcome RadioNovel to the Gig Game family — a platform for writers, podcasters, and storytellers to turn their stories into immersive audio dramas and interactive experiences.

And we know that some of our Gig Game hosts are writers and creators themselves, so this may be something you'll want to explore.

What is RadioNovel?

Think of an audiobook — then go quite a bit further.

Instead of simply having an AI voice read your book or script, RadioNovel turns your story into a full audio production. It can identify the characters in your writing, give each character their own voice, and combine those performances with narration to create a complete cast.

But voices are only part of it.

RadioNovel also creates ambient backgrounds to establish where a scene takes place, music to help establish its mood, and Foley sound effects to bring what's happening in the story to life. Footsteps, doors, storms, crowds, phones, vehicles, and other sounds can all become part of the production.

The result is much closer to a classic radio drama than a traditional audiobook — a story performed through voices, music, atmosphere, and sound.

It's also useful for podcast creators. Whether you're producing a scripted fiction podcast, adding dramatized segments to a show, creating character-driven content, or simply looking for a way to give a podcast a richer produced sound, RadioNovel's voices, music, ambience, and Foley tools can help build the finished audio experience.

Creators remain in control of the production. You can review characters, create and reuse voices, adjust performances and sound effects, and use the post-production tools to shape the finished story.

If you've written a novel, short story, script, podcast, or other story you'd like to bring to life, check out RadioNovel and give it a try.

Where RadioNovel Meets Gig Game

There's another reason RadioNovel belongs in the Gig Game family.

Gig Game has always been about turning an audience from spectators into participants. RadioNovel is beginning to bring that same idea to storytelling through interactive stories, where an audience can participate in the experience and help influence where the story goes.

And the relationship works both ways.

As we continue building new story-based experiences into the Gig Game platform, you'll start to see some of the ideas and technology behind RadioNovel appearing here as well — richer audio environments, music, sound effects, characters, and interactive narratives.

It's another part of what we're building across the Gig Game family: Play, Stories, and Community.

Welcome to the family, RadioNovel.
