Created a new release notes and update tracking system to improve communication around live product changes, fixes, and feature releases.
The Trivia Set Builder has been redesigned for improved ease of use and faster workflow management.
New improvements include:
We streamlined the game onboarding experience based on player feedback, making it faster and easier to jump into a game.
Fixed an issue where the “answered” count on the heads-up display and host console was not updating in real time during text input questions. Submitted answers now appear live as players respond, matching the behavior of standard and bluff question types.
The Score Submit review panel on the host console now displays a check mark next to each player or team that has submitted their round. Submitted rows are also visually highlighted, making it easy for hosts to quickly see who’s finished and who’s still answering.
The round scores screen on the heads-up display has been redesigned for better readability in live venues. Scores now appear in a clean grid layout supporting up to 20 players instead of a scrolling list, making results easier to read from across the room.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place are highlighted with gold, silver, and bronze accents. When more than 20 players are in the game, the title automatically updates to display “Top 20 Round Scores.”
The host console now includes powerful new live reporting and review tools, giving hosts deeper visibility into gameplay and team performance throughout a session.
A new Question History tab has been added to the console. Hosts can now review every question asked during the game, including:
Team responses are automatically ordered by response speed, making it easy to see which teams answered fastest.
A new Teams & Scores tab provides a live scoreboard for all teams in the game. Teams are automatically sorted by total points and include:
This gives hosts a quick snapshot of standings and overall team performance during gameplay.
The stage area of the host console now includes three dedicated tabs:
The updated layout makes it easier for hosts to monitor and review games without disrupting the live experience.
All gameplay history and scoring data is now generated server-side and included in every HostSync update. This ensures the console always stays up to date, including when reconnecting mid-game.
