There’s a new way to get the entire room talking, laughing, debating, and second-guessing themselves. Majority Rules has arrived at Gig Game Studios!
Designed specifically for bars, restaurants, parties, corporate events, and large social gatherings, Majority Rules is an interactive crowd game where knowing the right answer won’t help you—because there isn’t a right answer.
There’s only the popular one.
The concept is simple: players are presented with a question and several possible answers. Everyone makes their choice using their device, but there’s a catch.
You’re trying to choose the answer you think everyone else will choose.
Once the votes are in, the crowd has spoken. Players who sided with the majority score points and move up the leaderboard.
Maybe you have a strong opinion. Maybe you’re absolutely certain you know what everyone else thinks. But when those results hit the screen, you might discover you don’t know the room nearly as well as you thought.
That’s where the fun begins.
Majority Rules is all about opinions, preferences, predictions, and reading the crowd.
Questions range from easy everyday choices to hilarious hypotheticals, hot takes, personal questions, and debates that might keep going long after the answer is revealed.
Players might be asked to choose the best, identify the worst, pick between two impossible options, admit whether they’ve ever done something, or decide which side of a ridiculous argument they think most people will take.
That means everyone can play. There’s nothing to study, no obscure facts to remember, and no trivia expert at the table who automatically has the advantage.
Sometimes following the crowd is exactly how you win.
Majority Rules – Pack 1 launches with 175 questions across nine categories, each bringing a different flavor to the game:
Keep It or Kill It puts things on the chopping block. Hard Pass searches for the worst of the worst. None of Your Business gets a little more personal. Hear Me Out... dives into hypothetical situations. Top Tier searches for the crowd favorite. Pick Your Poison forces players to choose between two options. Spill It asks what you have—or haven't—done. Fight Me brings out the hot takes. And Showdown puts two contenders head-to-head.
The variety keeps rounds moving and gives hosts plenty of opportunities to get the room reacting.
Majority Rules was created with live, social gameplay in mind.
A room full of individual opinions suddenly becomes part of one shared experience. Players make their selections privately, then everyone gets to see how the crowd voted.
That reveal is a big part of the game.
Did 80% of the room agree? Was it nearly a perfect split? Did the answer everyone was confidently shouting somehow come in last?
The bigger the group, the more interesting the results can become.
Pack 1 is only the start.
We’ll be adding additional Majority Rules question sets in the near future, bringing new questions, themes, categories, and opportunities to keep the game fresh for repeat players and venues running regular events.
So get your crowd together, make your predictions, and find out who really knows what everyone else is thinking.
Think like the crowd. Pick like the majority. Rule the room.
