Game Show Studio just got a lot bigger.
We’ve added 25 new games, each fully integrated into the Studio experience. Every game includes:
Games are added from the redesigned + Add window, which is now a searchable gallery of picture cards.
You may recognize some of these game concepts by other names. We’ve given them our own names and presentation so Game Show Studio can provide original versions of familiar game-show formats.
| Game | How It Plays |
|---|---|
| One More Spin | Spin a bonus board, hit STOP, and win whatever is on the highlighted space. Bank your winnings or risk them for One More Spin. |
| Tap Derby | A team horse race powered by the audience. Guests repeatedly tap the button on their phones to make their team’s horse run. |
| Crowd Percent | Guess what percentage of people answered “yes” to a survey question. The closest guesses earn the most points. |
| Only One | A board contains several possible answers, but only one is correct. The room votes answers off the board while trying to keep the correct one alive. |
| Truth in the Lies | Players see a subject and a collection of statements. Most are false, but a few are secretly true. Guests select the statements they believe. |
| Three Answers | Every question has exactly three correct answers hidden among several wrong ones. Players race to buzz in, with the fastest player getting first choice. |
| Category Climb | Teams take turns describing words without saying them. Get enough correct answers and the team advances to a more difficult category. |
| Risk Your Answer | Players distribute tokens across possible answers. Tokens placed on the correct answer are kept and score points; tokens on wrong answers are lost. |
| Number Line | Every player has an empty row of numbered slots. Numbers arrive one at a time and must be placed so the entire line remains in numerical order. |
| Trivia Market | Fast multiple-choice trivia builds a player’s bankroll. The leader may then be offered the opportunity to spend some of it on a reward. |
| Close Enough | Players reveal hidden values one at a time, trying to get as close as possible to a target without going over. |
| Take the Offer | One player keeps a sealed vault while opening the others in rounds. After each round, the appraiser makes a guaranteed offer: take the deal or keep playing. |
| Fact or Fake | Players see an unusual word with several possible definitions. They create convincing fake definitions, then everyone votes on which one they think is real. |
| Trivia Race | Players or teams race along a track by answering trivia questions correctly. Harder questions can move racers farther. |
| Phrase Wheel | A hidden phrase appears as blank tiles. Spin the wheel, call a letter, earn the wedge value for each match, and try to solve the phrase. |
| Answer First | Choose from a board of categories and increasing values. Once a clue appears, everyone races to buzz in and submit the answer. |
| Mystery Rules | Players answer prompts without knowing how points are awarded. The scores themselves become clues to discovering the hidden rule. |
| Crossword Clash | Teams answer clues to fill in a crossword. Each completed word reveals more of a hidden master answer that teams can choose to guess. |
| Take a Side | Two players are randomly assigned opposite sides of a proposition. They make their arguments and the audience votes for the winner. |
| Prize Path | Players or teams answer trivia to move across a winding game board where every space can trigger something different. First to the finish wins. |
| Rapid Run | Every player completes the same series of short challenges on their phone at their own pace. Finish one challenge to unlock the next. |
| Word Clues | A hidden word appears as blank tiles while clues are revealed one at a time. The earlier you solve it, the more points you earn. |
| Mystery Basket | Players receive a creative challenge plus a basket of surprise elements that must all be incorporated. Finished entries are shown anonymously and the audience votes. |
| Keep It Quiet | One player performs a funny challenge while everyone else tries to remain silent. A noise meter on the TV turns audience outbursts into strikes. |
| Pick a Side | Everyone chooses between two possible outcomes, such as heads or tails. The result is revealed and players who chose incorrectly pay the price. |
Creating a complete game show is faster, too.
Find, paste, or import questions
Question-based games can pull content from your Trivia library, accept pasted question lists, or import existing content.
AI “Write It for Me”
Twenty-one of the new games can generate their own content from a topic you provide. Review it, make any changes you want, and add it directly to your show.
AI Autopilot
Every new game, along with Trivia, can be operated automatically by the AI cohosts. We tested every game from setup through completion with both active players and players who never interact with their phones.
New visual library
Every game and step type now has its own artwork, icon, and color, making shows easier to build and navigate.
Trivia questions can now carry real risk.
When wagering is enabled, players bet their own points before answering. A correct answer earns the normal question value plus the wager. A wrong answer costs the wager.
On the Trivia step’s Rules tab, set Player Wager to:
Set Wager Point to one of two modes:
With the question displayed
Players can see the question, but not the answer choices, before placing their wager.
Before the question
Players wager based only on the category. The actual question remains hidden until betting closes.
Any individual question can have its own Player Wager and Wager Point settings. All other questions continue using the round rules.
On the Live tab, Get Wagers is now available from the Next Step menu.
You can use it on any question, even when wagering is disabled for the rest of the round.
While wagering is open, the button changes to Close Wagers, and the status line shows how many players have placed a bet.
Players can wager anywhere from zero to their entire point total or tap All In.
The TV screen shows how many wagers have been placed without revealing individual bets.
A player with zero points will never be locked out of a question because of a required wager.
If every player has zero points, wagering is automatically skipped until someone scores.
The Sounds tab can now assign different effects to:
We also simplified the host controls: Lock Answers and Unlock are now a single button.
The AI cohost will also no longer read the question aloud while wagering is still open.
You can now run an entire Game Show Studio production from your phone or tablet.
That means you can leave the computer, walk the room, interact with players, and still control the show.
Press REMOTE in the Game Console’s top bar, or go to:
Setup > TV & Players > Host Remote Control
Scan the QR code using a phone or tablet connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
The remote opens ready to use. There is nothing to pair.
The remote shows your current position in the show and what comes next, with controls to:
Both Globals and Reserves are available as collapsible sections.
Globals contain controls that can be used at any point in the show.
Reserves contain your side games and backup activities.
Every step appears in show order with the game’s artwork.
A gold border identifies the step currently on the TV, while completed steps are marked Done.
Tapping a step opens all of its available controls without changing what the audience sees.
Controls that are not currently available are greyed out.
When you are ready, press HUD to send that step to the TV and activate its controls.
This means an accidental tap on the remote will not suddenly change your live show.
All 25 new games are supported, along with existing Game Show Studio tools including:
Trivia, Buzzer, Poll, Scoreboard, Bingo, Squares, Wheel, Timer, and more.
Each uses large, color-coded controls with an icon and printed label.
Select a Reserve or Global, press HUD, and run it normally.
When you are finished, press Back to Game to return to the show step you left.
Host Remote includes:
The remote link signs the device in as a host, so the QR code and access link remain hidden until you intentionally choose to display them.
The Help library has also been expanded.
Every one of the 25 new games includes its own written guide and training video, along with documentation for wagering and Host Remote.
That means you can learn a game, build it into a show, and start hosting it without having to figure out the workflow on your own.
