Built with animatronic characters in mind, Game Show Studio’s AI Hosts can now listen to guests, respond in character, and periodically look at their surroundings using a connected camera.
AI characters can listen for someone speaking, detect when they’re finished, and respond naturally in character. The system ignores short background noises, pauses listening while the character is speaking, and automatically resumes afterward.
When the room has been quiet for a set amount of time, the character can briefly use the camera to look around and make a natural comment about what it sees. The camera captures a single image, analyzes it, and immediately closes. Images are not stored.
Each Host Chat step can now include temporary instructions describing where the character is, who it is talking to, and how it should behave.
Combined with Game Show Studio’s existing Animatronic Voice Control, these features can give compatible AI-powered characters:
The result is an animatronic character that can interact with guests and respond to what is happening around it in real time.
