🔒 Bar Trivia: Keep Everyone on the Same Question

There’s a new Question Answering option under Game Play Settings → Player Interaction when you open a trivia set.

You can now choose how players move through questions:

  • Allow players to answer old questions (default) — Nothing changes from today. Players can go back through any question they’ve already seen and edit their answers until they submit the round.
  • Players must stay current — Players only see the question the host is currently on. They can’t flip back to previous questions, and there’s no separate Submit button to remember. Once a player answers the final question in the round, their answers are automatically locked in.

While the host finishes scoring, players will see a message letting them know their answers are being reviewed instead of a submission prompt.

This is a great option for hosts who want to keep the game moving and prevent players from revisiting earlier answers while the rest of the room catches up.

📚 Easier Browsing for Shared Trivia Sets

Finding the right shared trivia set in the Bar Trivia Host Console is now easier, too.

Shared Trivia Sets are organized by the show they were created for, so episodes from the same series—like Would I Lie 2—appear together under a single heading. Each group also shows how many sets it contains, making it easier to scan your options at a glance.

Sets that aren’t associated with a specific show are collected under Other Trivia Sets at the end of the list.

Your personal sets aren’t changing: My Trivia Sets works exactly as it did before.
