Switch Apps Without a New QR Code

Want to change games in the middle of an event? Now you can switch a live event to a different app without creating a new QR code or asking everyone to rejoin.

Simply choose a new app from the gear icon in your Host Console, or switch apps directly from the event’s edit page.

Your Host Console, TV display, and connected player devices will reload into the new app while keeping everyone signed in. No rescanning the QR code. No re-entering names. Some players may need to refresh their phone browser if the new app doesn’t load automatically.

It’s perfect for a trivia night that rolls straight into bingo, or any event where you want to keep the same crowd connected while jumping between different Gig Game experiences.

Trivia Builder: Generate AI Images in Bulk

Creating visual question sets just got a whole lot faster.

From Question Actions → Generate AI Images, you can now select multiple questions and generate artwork for all of them in a single batch.

Choose an art style, add an optional style hint to keep the artwork consistent, and decide whether you want to generate images for every selected question or only questions that don’t already have an image.

Image generation runs in the background, so you can keep working while Gig Game handles the rest. You can follow the progress from the same build queue used for bulk question generation.

We’ve also improved image generation for Majority Vote and Survey Says questions. Because these question types don’t have a single correct answer that needs to remain hidden, generated artwork can now incorporate the question and answer choices more directly—opening up the door for more relevant and entertaining visuals.

Export Trivia Questions to CSV

Need your questions outside of Gig Game? You can now export any selection of trivia questions directly to a CSV file, making it easy to back up your question bank, review content, or work with your questions in Excel or other spreadsheet applications.

Exports can include the question, up to eight answers, correct answer, category, tags, difficulty, and a link to the question image.

Our printable Avery 95272 card export is now limited to 100 questions per export to keep print layouts manageable. The new CSV export does not have that limit.

We’ve added a new featured section to the Gig Game home page where we can spotlight standout games and trivia sets from our library and community.

The new layout automatically adapts to what’s being featured—from a single large spotlight to a full scrolling collection—making it easier to discover something new to play at your next event.

And a Few Things Behind the Scenes...

Not every update needs a shiny new button.

We’ve also made several behind-the-scenes improvements to the way live games move between questions, rounds, and game states.

Ideally, you won’t notice these changes at all.

Things should just work a little more smoothly—and that’s exactly the point.
