New Tool: Spin Wheel

Enter a list of names, hit Spin, and watch the wheel spin down to a random winner right on the big screen.

  • Remove the winner and spin again with whoever’s left — perfect for raffles, prize drawings, or deciding who goes first.
  • Force a winner — rig the result on demand for a scripted surprise moment. Afterward, the wheel automatically resets to random for the next spin.
  • Let a player spin — grant the Spin button to one connected player’s phone for a one-time press. The button disappears as soon as they use it.

New Tool: Trivia Answer Collector

Run trivia one question at a time, your way, with five different formats:

  • Multiple Choice — classic multiple choice with automatic grading.
  • Text Entry — players type their own answers, and you grade each response.
  • Majority Rules — there’s no wrong answer; the crowd’s most popular choice wins.
  • Survey Says — players rank their guesses (or pick just one) and earn points based on how closely they match the real popularity ranking.
  • Deceptive Answers — players submit their own decoy answers, which are mixed in with the truth. Players score for choosing the correct answer and for fooling others with their decoys.

Every format supports loading questions directly from your trivia library or writing one on the fly. You can also manually override any player’s score afterward for borderline calls.

New Tool: Numeric Bid

Run a “Price Is Right”–style round: players privately submit a number, you reveal the real price, and whoever comes closest without going over wins.

New Tool: Timer

Run a countdown or stopwatch for the room — great for breaks, challenges, or discussion periods. The timer operates independently of whatever game is currently running.

Trivia Library & Queue

  • Browse trivia sets by category, with question previews directly in the host console.
  • Queue questions ahead of time and load them straight into Live Voting or the new Trivia Answer Collector.
  • Choose whether a question should automatically be removed from the queue once it’s used.
  • Your queue now lives on the server, so it survives page refreshes — no more losing your lineup in the middle of a show.

Load / Save Setup

Save your entire host configuration as a named preset and reload it before your next show with one click.

Presets can include Buzzer settings, Live Voting, Numeric Bid, Timer, team rules, theme, and your trivia queue.

There’s also a Reset to Default option whenever you want to start with a clean slate.

Buzzer Upgrades

The buzzer now gives hosts more control over how rounds play out:

  • Early-Buzz Penalty — optionally lock out players who buzz before the round officially opens. Instead of simply ignoring an early buzz, the player is timed out for a few seconds to discourage button-mashing.
  • Buzzer Delay — add a configurable delay to control when players are allowed to buzz in.
  • Mark Correct or Wrong — after a player buzzes in, the host can mark their answer as correct or incorrect, making it easier to manage scoring and keep the round moving.

Visual Polish

  • Consistent team colors — each team now uses the same color everywhere: the big screen, host console, and every player’s phone.
  • Rebuilt scoreboard — a cleaner, paginated leaderboard that advances together on the big screen and host console.
  • Collapsible Tools panel — tuck the Tools panel away for a cleaner tablet-friendly view.
  • Collapsible settings — long settings panels can be tucked away once everything is configured, keeping the host console focused on what matters during the show.
