Custom Background Screens for Your Trivia Sets

You can now set the visual backdrop for every screen in your trivia experience — Wait-to-Start, Introduction, Category, Rounds, Scores, Credits, Commercial, and "Please Stand By" — plus a custom background for each individual category. Open any set in the Trivia Set Builder, go to the visual theme section, and you'll find the new options on every screen.

🎬 Upload your own background videos Click Upload on any screen to drop in an MP4 (or an image) and fine-tune it before it's added:

• Remove audio — strip the soundtrack so the video plays silently behind the game.
• Force to 16:9 — fit and center off-size clips on a clean black widescreen frame so they look right on any display.

Videos process in the background after you save, so you can keep building without waiting around. (Up to 100 MB and 60 seconds per clip.)

Turn an image into a background No video? Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP and we'll turn it into a smooth, looping background clip — ideal for sponsor graphics, themed art, or a simple branded backdrop.

Generate backgrounds with AI The AI Assist button now has two tabs:

• AI Image — describe what you want, pick an art style, and the AI creates a custom background image for the screen.
• AI Video (new!) — generate true motion looping backgrounds from a text prompt. Pick a length (4, 6, or 8 seconds), give it a title and category, and it builds a seamless loop you can reuse across any set.

AI videos save to your personal library, where you can preview, rename, re-categorize, delete, and apply them to any screen — they also appear automatically in your background browser. You can generate one at a time, and finished videos show up the moment they're ready.
