A real inbox for Gig Game

You can now message other members directly, right inside the Hub — no more trading phone numbers or emails just to ask a quick question.

  • New chat icon in the header — shows a live unread count so you never miss a message.
  • Full conversation view — search your chats, scroll back through history, and load older messages as you scroll up.
  • Start a conversation from anyone's profile — hit Message this Member on a provider's public profile to reach out directly.
  • Block or hide any conversation you don't want to see anymore.
  • Your notifications, your call — choose whether new messages reach you by email, SMS, both, or neither, right from the Messenger screen or your Profile settings. We only ping you when there's actually something new to catch up on — not every single message.
  • Say hello to GigMaster — every account gets a personal welcome message from Jason, the founder. It's a direct line if you ever have questions, feedback, or just want to say hi.

Your provider profile is now your storefront

Service Provider profiles are publicly viewable - meaning anyone looking to hire a host, DJ, or event pro can find you in the Provider Directory, check out your business info, bio, category, and location, and now message you directly through Gig Game to inquire about booking you for a job.

  • No public contact info required — inquiries come to you through your Messenger inbox.
  • Already on the fence about being listed? Now's a great time to fill out your bio, category, and location — it's the first thing a potential client sees before they reach out.
  • Prefer to stay under the radar? Set your profile visibility to My Connections or Private anytime under Edit Profile → Business Information → Include in online provider list.

🚀 And this is just the beginning

Your public provider profile is the foundation for what's coming next.

Future enhancements will give Service Providers powerful new ways to market themselves directly through Gig Game, including the ability to build rich public marketing pages showcasing their services, photos, events, reviews, and more. We also plan to introduce optional white-label micro-sites, allowing providers to create their own branded web presence while Gig Game handles the hosting, messaging, and booking experience behind the scenes.

Our goal is simple: help you spend less time managing technology and more time growing your business.
