What is Gig Game?

Live, hosted games your whole crowd plays from their phones.

Gig Game is a library of multiplayer social games you host from one screen - trivia, bingo, drawing games, scavenger hunts, mysteries, DJ tools, and more. Players join from any phone by scanning a QR code. No apps, no downloads, no accounts.

But we're more than just games. The platform is a lead-gathering and customer-engagement tool - every player becomes a lead in a built-in CRM and an opted-in contact for future email campaigns inviting them back.

And best of all - every game is included for one subscription price.

Made for bars, trade shows, festivals, classrooms, and private parties - and the independent hosts who run them for a living.

HOW YOU RUN IT

Simple to Launch. Easy to Share Anywhere.

Gig Game runs entirely in your web browser, so you can host interactive experiences without complicated setups, downloads, or special hardware. From live games and audience interactions to hybrid and remote events, everything you need is ready the moment you open your browser.

Your laptop becomes the control center. Open the Host Console, launch the Heads Up Display, and share it on a TV, projector, or live stream using tools like OBS, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams. Guests join instantly on their phones by scanning a QR code—no apps required. If you prefer to work the room instead of standing behind a laptop, you can launch an optional second Host Console on a tablet or phone and manage the event while roaming the floor. As long as one Host Console remains connected to the TV, projector, or stream, your Heads Up Display stays live for everyone to see.

Turn Players Into Regulars

Every event is a chance to grow an audience that comes back.

Know who's in the room by collecting contact information, custom fields, and event-specific questions as players join. Every event helps you build an opted-in audience you can reach again later.

Bring people back with recurring events, seasonal competitions, loyalty programs, and targeted messaging. Turn a great trivia night, trade show activation, or company event into the beginning of an ongoing relationship.

Build your following over time with built-in contact management, audience segmentation, bulk messaging, and social sharing tools that help every event create momentum for the next one.

The Difference

Four things that set Gig Game apart.

The others stop at the game. Gig Game turns every event into leads, contacts, and follow-up - automatically.

AI Host Assist Tools

Optional AI tools help you host - generate content, narration, and pacing. Use as much or as little as you want.

Lead capture at join

Every player signs in - name, email, phone - captured automatically.

Built-in CRM

Players become real contacts: tagged, segmented, and yours to keep.

Built-in emailer

Templates and a built-in sender bring them back for the next event.

Plus the basics done right: hundreds of players, 12 languages, and no app to download.

Built by Founders Who Host

From a Cub Scout pack on Zoom to events everywhere

The roots of Gig Game go back to 2020. Jason and his wife were Cub Scout leaders trying to keep their pack engaged over Zoom during lockdown, so he built Mobo Bingo. It worked. Then the parents asked to use it at work. Then a bar asked. Then a trade show, then HR teams, then event organizers. We never set out to build a platform - we just kept answering the next request.

That demand became a company. Jason formally founded Gig Game in Orlando in 2024, with James joining in 2025. Jason brings more than 30 years in game development and is a published author on game design and AI, as well as a fiction writer. James brings more than 26 years as a game show host, magician, and live entertainer. We've spent our careers building and running the exact kind of events these tools are for.

Jason and James are still the backbone of the company and reachable by every customer. When you share feedback or ask for something, it goes straight to the people who can build it - and that's exactly how Gig Game keeps getting better.

We're proud recipients of the ElevenLabs Startup Grant, supporting our mission to create more engaging live event experiences through optional AI-powered hosting, narration, and content generation tools.

Introducing Bar Trivia - A New Host-Driven Trivia Experience from Gig Game

  • 18 May 2026
  • Gig Game Announcements

Today we're excited to launch an early preview of Bar Trivia, a new live multiplayer trivia experience built specifically for human hosts, bars, restaurants, streamers, and live event entertainment. Unlike our Trivia Night Game Show experience, Bar Trivia is designed around host-controlled pacing, crowd interaction, dramatic reveals, and real-world trivia nights where the emcee runs the room. This is trivia built for showmanship - giving hosts the tools to create live interactive experiences that feel more like a game show than a quiz app.
